Off to Cambodia for a week

It's Friday and the weekend is here!

I'll be taking a solo retreat with God. I try and do this every year. It's my tithe and offering to Him. To set the tone for the year, listen to Him, and press into what vision He has for my life for the year.

I recommend you do this, in some manner or form. Take a day or two, get alone by yourself and Lord, and listen to him. Turn off the phone, don't turn on the computer, put away the Facebook feed updates, and get back to the basics with Him.

Then on Monday, off to Cambodia, back on Sunday. I'll spend the week with B Squad. I oversee this squad as they are in month 4 of their Missionary journey. This is a time of debriefing their past, and casting vision for the future. Worship times, preaching, teaching, leader training and development, and refreshment for these 50+ missionaries.

Do you ever say to yourself..."Wow, I thought I'd have it all together by now?" Well, I do. Not always, but yes, sometimes. I was facebook chatting with a friend, who just turned 25, and she had similar thoughts. It made me realize we're not alone. We chuckled over our light bulb flicker of thoughts. Recently, that thought has crossed my mind. That my life isn't what I thought it would be or exactly where I might want it to be. It's one of those blah thoughts that comes and you wish it hadn't, but it does. It lingers for a bit, then it goes away, mostly. Ever had that happen?

Happy Thanksgiving!

I couldn't let this day go by without saying how THANKFUL I am for all of you!

I am so thankful for each and every one of you. For your love and support in my life.

When it comes down to it, it's relationships and people that matter. At least for me anyways :) After looking at all the 'things' of life - work, vacations, travel, ministry, fun times, difficulties, sickness, health....all of it, what it ALL COMES DOWN TO is people, and love.

True love, and I thank God for HIS overwhelming Love for all of us. And then how that love is displayed in you guys. It's that love in hearts and people that rocks. It's what I enjoy most about life.

So Happy Thanksgiving...I am extremely thankful for you!

There were some awesome personal life changes.

Worship thrived with dancing.

Men were called into their greatness.

And a basketball match led to a massive beard by one of the guys being shaven! And money donated along with the fundraiser.

Off I go again! Just left Paris

As I write this, I'm on the flight that just left Paris, France, connecting to Bucharest, Romania. I'll be there for 6 days. Caroline and myself will spend 5 full days with W Squad.
